Dr. McCabe performing minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the ankle after an ankle sprain several years prior. Ankle sprains can become chronic and often times need to be cleaned out with a scope. Patients are able to walk the same day of surgery after an ankle scope.
Reconstructive surgery is what Dr McCabe specializes in. He is a Fellowship trained reconstructive specialist.
This is a magnified picture of a ligament in the ankle joint that can cause chronic pain called Bassett's ligament. This ligament is treated with minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. Patients are able to walk the same day of surgery.
